The Washington Football Team is optimistic about quarterback Alex Smith's (calf) chances of starting in Week 15 against the Seahawks, although he's expected to be limited in practice this week. Smith suffered a calf strain last weekend to the same leg that he almost lost after suffering a gruesome break a couple of years ago. Dwayne Haskins would get his first start since Week 4 if Smith ultimately cannot play. The veteran QB hasn't been great from a fantasy perspective, but he's definitely lifted this offense from where they were early in the season and the team is 4-1 in his five starts since taking over. Seattle's defense has stiffened of late -- they've allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to QBs in the last five weeks -- which will make Smith just a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues if he plays.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
