Twins Announce Rich Hill A Healthy Scratch

Minnesota Twins pitcher Rich Hill is healthy and was scratched from his start as a precautionary measure, the team announced last night. Hill was moved up to the number-two spot in the rotation to replace Jake Odorizzi (back) but Minnesota doesn't want to push things too quickly with the veteran. It's a smart move, considering the oft-injured Hill is 40 years old and had offseason elbow surgery. Randy Dobnak, who looked impressive in spring training and summer camp, will toe the rubber for the Twins in the second game of the series against the Chicago White Sox.
