The Detroit Lions used the No. 35 pick in the 2020 NFL draft to select Georgia running back D'Andre Swift. The pick adds a talented running back to a crowded running back room in Detroit. Swift comes into the NFL as one of the top-regarded pass-catching running backs available in the draft but his landing spot in Detroit isn't ideal. Incumbent running back Kerryon Johnson has flashed at times in Detroit but he has also struggled with multiple injuries in the NFL. Swift is a quality all-around running back who caught 56 balls over his final two college seasons. He will likely open his career in a committee with Johnson with room to grow into a three-down role.--Matt T - RotoBaller
