San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that linebacker Kwon Alexander (pectoral) could return if the team advances to the NFC Championship. That would require the 49ers to win just one more game, as they have a first-round bye and home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs. The 25-year-old has played in just eight games this season due to injury and has 34 tackles (22 solo), half a sack, one forced fumble and an interception.
