Roope Hintz Out With Injury On Tuesday
Dallas Stars forward Roope Hintz will be sidelined for his team's matchup with the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday due to what is being classified as a lower-body injury. The 22-year-old could have suffered the injury during the third period of the Stars home game versus the Canadiens on Saturday, but he did not appear to miss a shift in the 4-1 victory. The team has not specified how Hintz sustained the issue. The second-year power forward had been off to an excellent start to the 2019-2020 campaign, leading the Stars in both goals (nine) and points (11) through 16 contests. Hintz had been averaging 16:10 of ice time while centering the team's second line and should be stashed in a designated injury spot until he returns. He's also listed as doubtful for the Stars next game versus the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday.
