Bears Defense Comes Up Short
5 years agoThe Chicago Bears Defense recorded one interception and one sack in the team's crushing 17-16 loss to the Chargers in Week 8. The elite unit played solid throughout the game but turnovers by the offense put them in some tough positions in the fourth quarter. They held the Chargers to only 36 rushing yards but did allow a huge completion to the Chargers receiver Mike Williams in the first half to set up a touchdown. As long as the Bears offense continues to struggle, the defense can only do so much. They will have a stiff test next week against the Eagles in Philadelphia for Week 8.
