Kyle Higashioka Homers Twice, Drives In Five

New York Yankees catcher Kyle Higashioka had a career night Wednesday against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards. The usual minor league catcher, who's serving as the current backup due to Gary Sanchez's injury, homered twice and drove in a game-high five runs as part of a New York beat down of the Orioles. The 29-year-old is likely to see his current run with the major league club conclude this week as Sanchez nears a return. Higashioka, however, is likely to return at the beginning of September when rosters are expanded.
