Robinson Cano Has Torn Hamstring
Robinson Cano could be sidelined for the remainder of the season. The 36-year-old landed on the IL Monday and MRI results revealed a torn left hamstring. There is no timetable for his return and he could very well be gone for the rest of the season. This is a crushing blow for the Mets, who stormed into the playoff picture with a seven-game winning streak. The club will surely miss Cano's veteran experience as they prepare for a playoff spot battle.
