Jed Lowrie Dealing With Left Knee Soreness

New York Mets third baseman Jed Lowrie is dealing with left knee soreness in camp and the team is limiting his activity. The injury isn't believed to be serious, but it's not something you want to see from a player that will turn 35 in April. Lowrie set career highs in home runs (23) and RBI (99) in his final season in Oakland, but he also hit an uninspiring .267/.353/.448 as a first-time All-Star. Lowrie is perhaps most attractive in deep mixed and NL-only leagues for the positional flexibility he can give his owners. He'll be the Mets primary third baseman this year with Robinson Cano manning the keystone.
