Florida Panthers left wing Mike Hoffman extended the NHL's longest active point streak to 14 games and established a franchise record for the longest such run on Thursday, surpassing Pavel Bure. He picked up the primary assist on a power play in the opening period when Aaron Ekblad made it 2-0, but the Cats ended up losing 7-3 against the Blue Jackets. Nick Bjugstad and Keith Yandle also scored in the game. Interestingly, despite the current streak, Hoffman isn't on top of the Panthers scoring charts with his 16 points, as his linemate Evgenii Dadonov has notched up one more. Still, Hoffman currently has the hottest hands in the league and thus should be owned in all fantasy formats.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
