Calgary Flames goaltender Mike Smith gave up six goals on 21 shots before getting pulled just 29 minutes into a 9-1 loss against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday. Unfortunately for Smith, his struggles in the game were nothing out of the ordinary as the 26-year-old netminder has now given up four or more goals in five of his first seven starts on the season. The result is a 4.10 goals-against average and a .866 save percentage, leaving fantasy owners to trust whether or not they can start Smith with any regularity moving forward. Given his rough string of performances thus far, probably best for owners to staple him to their bench for the time-being.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
