Haydn Fleury Set To Replace Trevor van Riemsdyk In Canes Lineup
Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Haydn Fleury looks set to make his season debut Tuesday night against Vancouver, with Trevor van Riemsdyk sitting out as a healthy scratch. Averaging 16:53 on the ice through the first three games of the season, van Riemsdyk failed to register any points and had five shots on goal with four hits and a minus-one rating. Fleury, the seventh pick of the 2014 NHL Draft, had his first full year in the league last season, collecting eight points -- all assists -- in 67 games with a minus-two rating while recording 86 shots on goal and 85 hits.
