Eduardo Rodriguez Plays Catch On Friday
Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez (ankle) was able to play catch prior to the team's game on Friday. Rodriguez is attempting to work his way back from a serious ankle injury. While he has yet to throw off of a mound, there's a chance he could throw a bullpen session in the coming weeks with a doctor's clearance. Rodriguez has pitched to an 11-3 record with a 3.44 ERA and a 110/32 K/BB ratio this season. There's no timetable for his return, however, Rodriguez will be a big boost to both the Red Sox and fantasy owners when he is fully healthy.
