Giancarlo Stanton Manages A Hit In Wednesday's Loss

New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton managed just a single in Wednesday's loss against the Tampa Bay Rays. He also hit a sacrifice fly that scored one of the Yankees' two runs. The one-hit day comes after an 0-for-4 day on Tuesday, and that comes after an eight-game hitting streak. His July average stands at .359, and it's a good sign that he was able to get on base via the hit after his empty day on Tuesday. The Yankees will need Stanton to produce the way he has been doing in July for the remainder of the season, and so will fantasy owners — especially in the power department.
