Curtis Granderson Reportedly A Target For Phillies

Toronto Blue Jays veteran outfielder Curtis Granderson might be on the move. According to The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal, the Philadelphia Phillies have inquired on the availability of Granderson. The Phillies are reportedly on the lookout for a "left-handed bat off [the] bench and [an] occasional starter in [the] outfield." The Phillies are one game ahead of the Atlanta Braves for the National League East lead and are probably looking to shore up any weaknesses they find on their roster as we continue the second half of the season. Granderson has had a disappointing season thus far, but a switch to a contender could improve his outlook, though he will probably be reduced to a part-time role.
