Drew Pomeranz To Start For Red Sox On Tuesday

Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Drew Pomeranz (biceps) will be activated off the disabled to start against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday. Pomeranz hasn't pitched since May 31 with left bicep tendinitis. When healthy, he holds a 1-3 record with a 6.81 ERA and a 36/21 K/BB ratio. Pomeranz is a much better pitcher than his numbers show as in 2017 he held a 17-6 record and a 3.32 ERA. However, despite facing a bad Orioles lineup it may be smart to give him a turn or two in the rotation before inserting him in fantasy lineups.
