Seattle Mariners starter Felix Hernandez picked up the loss on Thursday after allowing four runs through six innings against the A's. Hernandez (5-4) now sports an unsightly 5.58 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP while allowing 59 hits in 61 1/3 innings. After allowing eight runs on April 4th, 'King' Felix has pitched admirably for the 29-20 Mariners. He has made it through six innings in five of his last eight outings and he consistently, at the very least, has kept his team in the game. But he has been bitten by the home run bug (10 home runs in 11 starts) and his performance, to this point, has been mediocre. Hernandez right now is a desperate fantasy play in deep, AL-only leagues.--Joey C - RotoBaller
