Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell threw a very strong game in a victory over the Angels Friday. He went 6 2/3 innings against a strong lineup allowing two runs while striking out eight. The Rays would continue their strong recent run by winning their fifth straight game. Snell just recently turned 25 years old but already had 218 1/3 innings pitched in the majors going into 2018. The most obvious strength of Snell's young career has been his 217 strikeouts coming into the season, showing that he is a power pitcher that can make a difference in fantasy lineups. He seemed like a fourth or fifth starter for fantasy coming into the season but is currently vastly outperforming that.--Jamie Mellor
