The Los Angeles Angels appeared to send down starting pitcher Jaime Barria, one day after the rookie tossed seven innings with one earned run and seven strikeouts against the defending World Series champion Houston Astros. Reliever Eduardo Paredes has taken his place on the active roster. The Angels are still rocking a six-man rotation, and with an off day next week they won't need another starter for a few weeks, making Barria expendable for another bullpen piece. It's likely Barria will be up again in a few weeks, but he is a hard player to trust in fantasy despite his 2.13 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 25 1/3 innings.--patton
