Washington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman (back) was left out of Monday's lineup for the third day in a row, but he is scheduled to return on Tuesday. The team is being cautious with his return given Zimmerman's injury history and slow start to the season. Nobody seems worried, especially since Rafael Bautista was sent down when Shawn Kelley was activated on Monday. The move left the Nationals with a short bench, and Zimmerman presumably is able to pinch hit if necessary. He also batted before the game and did throwing drills in the batting cage. It seems like Zimmerman is indeed fine. He just needs to come alive since he's carrying a .655 OPS. Look for him to heat up sometime soon.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
