Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Carlos Santana has gotten off to a rocky start in his tenure for the club. The 32-year-old newly-signed former Cleveland Indian was hitting .151 entering Friday night’s game against the Washington Nationals. He arguably had his best offensive game in nearly a month, recording two hits, including a home run, to go with a pair of RBI. It was only Santana’s third home run of the season and just his third game with multiple RBI. The Phillies have gotten off to a decent start despite Santana’s struggles, but they will not be able to sustain that much longer at their current trend following another loss to open this series.--RDelgado
