Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Alex Lyon will take on the visiting New York Rangers for Thursday night's matchup. In Lyon's last appearance, he stopped 11 of 12 shots in a relief of Petr Mrazek, bringing his record to 3-2-1 on the year. Mrazek's performance has left something to be desired since the Flyers acquired him at the deadline, and if Lyon can put up a solid performance tonight, he might steal the starter's role until either Brian Elliott of Michal Neuvirth return.--Barry Miles
