There are plenty of exciting rookies who will debut early in the 2026 season, and one of the names to be the most excited about for fantasy purposes is Sal Stewart with the Cincinnati Reds. Stewart slashed .309/.383/.524 with 20 home runs and 17 steals in 118 minor league games last season before cranking five more home runs in 18 games with the Cincinnati Reds. The quality of contact was impressive for Stewart last season, who finished with a 51.3% hard-hit rate in Triple-A and 52.5% in the Majors. He's also consistently shown above-average contact skills at every level in the minor leagues while keeping his strikeout rate in check. This type of bat in Great American Ball Park is really exciting, and Stewart should be considered one of the top offensive rookies in 2026 fantasy baseball drafts.--Eric Cross
