Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Merrill Kelly (back) recently underwent an MRI after being scratched from his scheduled batting practice session last week. On Monday, D-Backs manager Torey Lovullo told reporters that they're still waiting for MRI results on Kelly's back issue. He continued by saying that Kelly is feeling good, so hopefully the 37-year-old will be able to avoid a significant injury. Kelly was recently named the Opening Day starter. At the moment, it doesn't sound like Kelly is in danger of missing the beginning of the regular season. Hopefully, the organization will be able to give a better timetable once the MRI results are in.--Andy Webb
