Klint Kubiak to Call Offensive Plays for Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders new head coach Klint Kubiak told reporters on Tuesday that he will call the offensive plays in 2026, according to Ryan McFadden of ESPN. "I plan on continuing to collaborate with our coaches and making everybody a part of the game planning process," Kubiak said. In all likelihood, Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza will be running Kubiak's offense next season after veteran Geno Smith was a disaster under center in 2025. Under Kubiak's guidance in Seattle, Sam Darnold led the Seahawks to a Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday. The Seahawks ranked third in points per game (28.4) during the regular season with Kubiak as the offensive coordinator, and they also finished eighth in total yards per game (351.4), eighth in passing yards per game (228.1), and 11th in rushing yards per game (123.3).
