Mike McDaniel Interviewing for Raiders Head-Coaching Job on Monday
The Las Vegas Raiders are set to interview former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel for the team's head-coaching job on Monday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. A lot of options are still on the table for McDaniel after he was fired by the Dolphins following the 2025 season. In addition to being a finalist for the Raiders' head-coaching job, he's also a finalist for the same position with the Cleveland Browns, and McDaniel is also a top offensive-coordinator candidate for several teams around the league. Another head-coaching gig is probably the priority for McDaniel, but if nothing works out on that front, he should have a pretty desirable OC job waiting for him. In Vegas, McDaniel would be an intriguing pairing for Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick by the Raiders in the 2026 NFL Draft.
