Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford (ankle) will sit out Monday against New York, extending his absence to three games as he continues to work through a right ankle sprain, with Thursday against Golden State next on the schedule. Dallas remains thin up front with Anthony Davis (finger) and P.J. Washington (personal) sidelined. Dwight Powell logged 10 points and eight rebounds in 27 minutes Friday, while Moussa Cisse posted 10 points and 13 rebounds in 23 minutes earlier this week.
