Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (illness) is probable heading into Monday's matchup with Charlotte. He didn't suit up for Friday's loss to the Chicago Bulls. Tyrese Proctor ended up taking his place in the rotation, finishing with 16 points, six rebounds, three assists, and one steal. If Mitchell suffers a setback, Proctor would presumably remain in the starting lineup, although that could change if Sam Merrill (hand), who is also probable, can return after missing the last 14 games. Darius Garland, coming off a 35-point effort, should also continue to see an uptick in scoring opportunities if Mitchell can't get back on the floor, even more so since the Hornets are one of the worst defensive clubs in the National Basketball Association.--Dennis Clausen
