Tank Bigsby Limited in Practice on Tuesday Due to Illness
Philadelphia Eagles running back Tank Bigsby (illness) was listed as a limited practice participant on Tuesday due to an illness. With Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (stinger) a non-participant in practice due to a stinger he suffered in Week 15, Bigsby could be in line for more work in Philadelphia's Week 16 matchup against the Washington Commanders. The 24-year-old recorded 17 carries for 57 yards in Week 15 and has rushed for 225 yards on 36 carries across 13 games with Philadelphia this season. While Bigsby's status for the weekend is not yet under threat, he will have one fewer day than usual to recover, as the Eagles and Commanders square off on Saturday. If Barkley and Bigsby were both sidelined, Philadelphia would likely turn to the combination of Will Shipley and A.J. Dillon to handle backfield reps in Week 16.
