Saints D/ST Could Have Opportunities for Takeaways in Week 13
Through 12 weeks this season, the New Orleans Saints are allowing an average of 24.9 points per game, which ranks 22nd in the NFL. However, the Saints' defense has been better from a yardage perspective. New Orleans ranks seventh in passing yards allowed (2,275) and 18th in rushing yards allowed (1,359). In Week 13, New Orleans will travel to Miami to take on the Dolphins. Miami is averaging just 20.5 points per game so far this season, which ranks 24th. Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has also been one of the NFL's most turnover-prone QBs, leading the league with 13 interceptions. If the Saints can get some pressure on the quarterback, they could have defensive success in Week 13. However, the New Orleans D/ST has been a mediocre unit for most of the season. The Saints' defense profiles outside the fantasy top 12 at the position and should likely be avoided by fantasy managers in Week 13.
