Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football waiver wire outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider adding off waivers in Week 13:
Devin Singletary, RB, Giants
New York Giants running back Devin Singletary held a meaningful role in the team's backfield over the past two weeks, but saw Tyrone Tracy Jr. dominate the snaps and touches in Week 12's overtime loss to the Detroit Lions. Singletary still handled 14 carries for 47 yards, but played on just 29.9% of the snaps, his lowest in a game since Cam Skattebo (ankle) got injured in Week 8. Notably, there was a shift in the goal-line work in Week 12. Singletary handled all 10 running back carries inside the 10-yard line in Weeks 9 through 11, but Tracy handled three of four carries in these spots in Week 12.
Tracy seems to be separating himself as the clear lead back in New York, and he's performed well with his opportunities. However, Singletary remains involved with the Giants and is worth a waiver wire add this week in 12-team leagues. Plus, he would step into a workhorse role if Tracy were to miss any time.
Tyler Allgeier, RB, Falcons
Across 11 games this season, Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has recorded 89 catches for 324 yards and seven touchdowns. As long as star Falcons back Bijan Robinson remains healthy, Allgeier's production upside is limited. However, the Falcons have consistently demonstrated a willingness to use Allgeier in goal-to-go situations, which gives him touchdown-scoring potential every week. Additionally, should Robinson get injured, Allgeier holds fantasy league-winning potential.
As the fantasy playoffs draw closer in most leagues, Allgeier is worth rostering for his handcuff upside alone. In the right matchups, such as Atlanta's Week 13 game against the New York Jets, Allgeier has standalone value as a flex option. He should be rostered in all leagues with 12 or more teams heading into Week 13.
Chris Godwin, WR, Buccaneers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (leg) looked "fine" in practice on Wednesday, according to Greg Auman of Fox Sports. The 29-year-old returned in Week 12 from a long injury layoff due to a leg injury and recorded two catches for nine yards on four targets in his team's blowout loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Godwin played just 36% of Tampa Bay's offensive snaps against the Rams, but Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said earlier this week that the team plans to ramp up his usage going forward.
Across the three games he's been healthy for this season, Godwin has recorded eight catches for 61 yards on 18 targets. He's dealt with persistent lower-body issues since suffering a dislocated ankle in October 2024, so it's wise for fantasy managers to proceed with caution until Godwin proves he can maintain health for an extended stretch. Godwin remains tough to trust heading into the Buccaneers' Week 13 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, particularly with starting Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield's (shoulder) status in question due to a shoulder injury.
Juwan Johnson, TE, Saints
New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson isn't the sexiest name by any means at his position, primarily because he resides in a Saints offense that is tied for last in the league with 15 points scored per game. However, Johnson has been the No. 2 option in the passing game in New Orleans in 2025 behind receiver Chris Olave, and he enters Week 13 action tied with Hunter Henry at 8.7 half-PPR fantasy points per contest.
The 29-year-old had touchdown catches in back-to-back games going into the Week 12 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, including a season-high 92 receiving yards before the team's Week 11 bye. On Sunday, Johnson had six catches (second-most in a game this year) on seven targets for 46 yards against Atlanta. His 67 targets through 11 games in 2025 tie him for seventh at the TE position. Johnson will be in a position as an intriguing low-end TE1 in fantasy in a plus matchup this weekend versus Miami. He is on pace for a career-best season.
Theo Johnson, TE, Saints
New York Giants tight end Theo Johnson recorded three catches for 77 yards on three targets in his team's Week 12 overtime loss to the Detroit Lions. Across 12 games this season, the 24-year-old has hauled in 39 receptions for 427 yards and five touchdowns on 60 targets. While Johnson's numbers don't jump off the page, he's been extremely consistent. In his last six games, Johnson has recorded exactly three receptions five times. The Giants may be getting starting quarterback Jaxson Dart (concussion) back in Week 13 after he's missed each of their last two games due to a concussion.
Across Dart's last four games before getting injured, he targeted Johnson 25 times. He lacks explosive upside, but Johnson has proven to be a high-floor fantasy tight end option who should be a waiver-wire target in leagues with 12 or more teams heading into a Week 13 matchup against the New England Patriots.
