Raiders Fire Offensive Coordinator Chip Kelly
The Las Vegas Raiders are firing offensive coordinator Chip Kelly, sources tell Adam Schefter of ESPN. The move comes after another disappointing offensive performance by the Raiders in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the visiting Cleveland Browns in Week 12. The Raiders had just 268 total yards of offense on Sunday and didn't score a touchdown until late in the fourth quarter with the game already decided. Vegas entered Week 12 action ranked 30th in yards per game (269), 24th in passing offense (187.6 yards per game), 31st in rushing offense (81.4 yards per game), and 30th in scoring (15.5 points per game). The Raiders were hoping that they could compete in the tough AFC West after adding veteran quarterback Geno Smith and rookie running back Ashton Jeanty in the first round, but it just has not happened. It's unclear who will take over offensive play-calling duties for the Raiders moving forward.
