Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson (hip) was ruled out after suffering a hip injury during the first half of Sunday's Week 8 contest against the New York Jets. However, the team believes that Hendrickson's injury is not significant, according to Jordan Schultz of The Schultz Report. There's no clear timetable for his return to action, but Schultz's X post seems to suggest that Hendrickson has a chance to play against the Chicago Bears in Week 9. It's also possible that the Bengals hold him out since they have a Week 10 bye, giving him a full 21 days to rest and recover. Myles Murphy and Shemar Stewart could earn more defensive snaps if Hendrickson, a defensive star and potential trade target, misses time.--Andersen Pickard
