Kyle Nelson got back in the win column by beating Matt Frevola by unanimous decision on the UFC Vancouver main card opener on Saturday. During the fight, the referee's error sparked controversy. Late in the opening round, Nelson knocked Frevola down, punishing him with ground and pound and with three seconds remaining in the round, the referee stepped in and stopped the fight. The referee then stopped Nelson's celebration, ushering the fighters to their corners while saying the fight isn't over. Nelson dominated the remaining rounds to win a unanimous decision. In 15 minutes of action, Nelson landed two takedowns and 63 significant strikes. --Alen Kurbasic
