Tua Tagovailoa Upgrades to Full Practice, Should be Good for Week 6
Tua Tagovailoa (hip, thumb) upgraded to a full participant in Thursday's practice, according to David Furones of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Tagovailoa came into the week nursing hip and thumb ailments and was limited on Wednesday. The 27-year-old's thumb injury is on his throwing hand, but it didn't appear to hinder him at all while throwing passes on Thursday. Tua's injuries are something to watch heading into Sunday's game at Hard Rock Stadium against the visiting Los Angeles Chargers, but they won't be something that keeps him from playing this weekend. Tagovailoa has looked better in recent weeks after a slow start, but losing top wideout Tyreek Hill (knee) for the year isn't going to help matters the rest of the way. Fantasy managers will want to consider him a low-end QB2 for a tough matchup against the Chargers defense as the club looks to put an end to a two-game losing streak.
