New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart (hamstring) was removed from the injury report on Wednesday and will play on Thursday night in Week 6 against the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles, according to Dan Salomone of Giants.com.

The 22-year-old first-rounder came out of the Week 5 loss to the New Orleans Saints with a sore left hamstring, but it was never really viewed as anything serious, even heading into a short week. Dart upset the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4 in his first NFL start, but he took a step back and committed three turnovers on Sunday to give the Saints their first win of the season. There are going to be plenty of ups and downs for Dart in his rookie season, especially with top wideout Malik Nabers (knee) lost for the year.

Dart's dual-threat abilities give him upside as a QB2 in fantasy, although he'll be one to fade against a tough Eagles defense that is coming off their first loss of the year.

The Jacksonville Jaguars placed tight end Brenton Strange (quadriceps) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Strange will now miss at least the next four games due to a quad injury that he picked up in Monday night's win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5.

The 24-year-old is believed to have avoided a season-ending injury, and the team thinks he'll be able to return in around a month. He caught his only target on Monday night for a 22-yard gain before departing. Over his first five games in 2025, Strange has 20 catches on 24 targets for 204 yards and no touchdowns in his third year in the league.

Surprisingly, he leads the Jags with 20 receptions. With Strange sidelined at least four games, Johnny Mundt and Hunter Long will both have bigger roles at TE. The earliest Strange will be eligible to return will be in Week 11 on Nov. 16 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

According to head coach Aaron Glenn, New York Jets running back Braelon Allen (knee) could miss 8-12 weeks with the MCL sprain he suffered in Week 4's loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Reports were that Allen would miss more than the minimum number of required games, but it now appears he'll be out until at least December, with surgery still an option. In the 21-year-old's absence, teammate Isaiah Davis will take over the Jets' RB2 duties behind starter Breece Hall, and the newly-acquired Khalil Herbert will handle the RB3 role with Kene Nwangwu (hamstring) still tending to injury.

Fantasy managers can safely drop Allen in all redraft formats as the likelihood of him making an impact to close out the 2025 season remains low.

New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (hamstring) has been ruled out for the Thursday night divisional game in Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Dan Salomone of Giants.com. This was the expected result after Slayton injured his hamstring on Sunday in the Week 5 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

He was unable to practice leading up to Thursday's game. The good news is that the 28-year-old will have extra time to get ready for a potential return in Week 7 against the Denver Broncos. Without Slayton in the fold in a tough matchup against Philly, Wan'Dale Robinson should be the favorite target of rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart in the passing game, with Jalin Hyatt and Beaux Collins also starting in three-wide sets.

Tight ends Theo Johnson and Daniel Bellinger should also be more involved in the passing attack on Thursday versus the Philadelphia Eagles.

Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears made his return in Week 5 from a high-ankle sprain that kept him out for the first four games of the season. Spears saw limited usage in his first game back, playing 17 total snaps and recording four carries for 14 yards against the Arizona Cardinals.

However, Titans head coach Brian Callahan said Spears' role will increase in future weeks, per Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com. The 24-year-old recorded 536 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns on 114 total touches across 12 games last season. Spears and Titans back Tony Pollard will split backfield work to some degree once Spears is fully healthy and re-integrated into the offense.

For now, Tyjae Spears should be rostered by fantasy managers, but likely cannot be trusted as a starter in Week 6 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
