Wyatt Langford Placed on 10-Day Injured List
Wyatt Langford (oblique) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday. This comes a day after Langford was removed after aggravating his left oblique issue. The Rangers have decided to shut him down for the rest of the season. They aren't playing for anything at this point, so they might as well let him rest. Langford will finish with a .241/.344/.431 slash line with 22 home runs, 62 RBI, and 22 steals in 134 games. In a corresponding move, outfielder Billy McKinney has been recalled to take Langford's spot on the active roster.
