Chase Brown Looking to Return to Form in Week 3
Chase Brown hasn't had the best start to the season. While the 25-year-old found the end zone in the Week 1 win over the Cleveland Browns, he has only 90 yards off 37 attempts for a subpar 2.4 yards per carry in the first two games. He isn't always the strongest runner. However, Brown has normally made up for it by catching passes out of the backfield. Unfortunately, he's struggled in that area as well by amassing just four receptions (six targets) for 26 yards. The Bengals are 2-0 through the first two weeks of the season, although Cincinnati will be tested moving forward without Joe Burrow (toe) under center for the foreseeable future. With Jake Browning now atop the depth chart, many are wondering how his presence will impact Brown and the rest of the Bengals offense. With that said, the 2023 No. 163 overall pick was taken in the second or third rounds in fantasy drafts heading into the 2025 campaign. For that reason alone, there's not really a scenario where managers can afford to keep him benched in Week 3 versus the Minnesota Vikings.
