Tyler Warren Injury Report: Will Warren Play in Week 3 for Fantasy Football?

Tyler Warren - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Rookies

Will Tyler Warren play in Week 3 for fantasy football? Is Tyler Warren injured or hurt heading into Week 3 of 2025? Read the latest Tyler Warren injury report.

Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren (toe) had a very nice start to his NFL career. Though he's a rookie, he's already the TE4 overall in PPR scoring formats.

Warren has already earned 16 targets, catching 11 passes for 155 yards. He has yet to catch a touchdown, but it's easy to imagine that coming with time.

Warren's physical style of play takes a toll, though, and he's dealing with an injury ahead of Week 3. So will he be able to play in Week 3, and what's his fantasy football outlook? Let's dive in.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Tyler Warren Fantasy Football Injury Update

Warren is dealing with a toe injury currently. He was limited in his team's final two practices of the week, but it's good that he was able to at least able to participate. And there hasn't been any news of serious concern about the ailment.

Sometimes, no news (or very little news) is good news. The film from his Week 2 game didn't reveal any serious limps or inability to finish some of his plays, so it was at least something that he could play through. There wasn't word that he was injured at practice, so it likely happened some time before or during that game.

So there are no indications that he's dealing with anything major. Be sure to stay updated on his injury as time goes on, but it appears that he should be fine.

Is Tyler Warren Playing in Week 3?

I'm leaning strongly toward yes. While he is listed as questionable on the Colts' injury report, and we won't know for sure until he's listed as active for the game, this is a commonplace thing in the NFL. Some teams like to be conservative with their players.

And as expected, he was removed from the injury report on Friday. He is good to go for Week 3.

Tyler Warren Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 3

Warren's outlook shouldn't be affected by this injury much. On film, he appears to have been favoring one of his legs over the other on a few plays. It's possible he sprained one of his toes, just felt some pain, or has a mild form of turf toe. Toes are heavily stressed on huge athletes wearing pads and blocking or changing direction quickly.

Warren has played excellent football so far. He's been a force after the catch, breaking a few tackles and powering through defenders. He's a huge target with an impressive vertical leap and very strong hands. If he plays, he's a must-start in all leagues.

Warren should emerge as one of the league's best tight ends this season, and he's on a team with a great offensive line, competent quarterback play, and an overall well-functioning offense. The Colts have yet to punt this season, and have scored on all their drives.

A good player in a good offensive environment dealing with minor injury issues shouldn't be benched.
