Elic Ayomanor Fantasy Football Outlook
Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Elic Ayomanor had a quiet stat line in Week 1, with two catches for 13 yards against the Denver Broncos, but his usage was encouraging.
He drew seven targets, which was much more than veteran Tyler Lockett (1) and fellow rookie Chimere Dike (1). Ayomanor also played 79% of the snaps, an impressive workload considering the Titans leaned heavily on 12 personnel.
Elic Ayomanor finished No. 1 in the NFL with total air yards on incomplete targets in Week 1, per @Ihartitz
Elic Ayomanor: 120
CeeDee Lamb: 116
Jaxon Smith-Njigba: 83
Brian Thomas Jr: 81
Tyquan Thornton: 79
Malik Nabers: 75

In Week 2, the Titans face the Los Angeles Rams, a defense that looked sharp in their opener against Houston but allowed the fourth-most touchdowns to wide receivers in 2024. That matchup creates an opportunity for Ayomanor to find the end zone if Cam Ward can connect with him.
While Ayomanor isn’t yet a reliable fantasy starter, his role as the clear WR2 gives him a strong path to targets. He’s a player to keep stashed on benches now with breakout potential later in the season.
Isaac TeSlaa Fantasy Football Outlook
Detroit Lions rookie wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa was able to find the endzone in Week 1, with a spectacular one-handed catch. However, that was the only reception that TeSlaa had during Detroit’s 27-13 beatdown against the Green Bay Packers.

TeSlaa played three snaps in Week 1, fewer than Lions starting receivers Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and Kalif Raymond. That was in part due to TeSlaa being limited in practice last week with an illness, and head coach Dan Campbell stated, “They would like to use him more.”
Detroit faces the Chicago Bears defense, which allowed the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers in 2024. The matchup isn’t great, and the usage is a massive concern for TeSlaa. He should remain out of fantasy lineups until he has a solidified role in the Lions offense.
Jaydon Blue Fantasy Football Outlook
Dallas Cowboys rookie running back Jaydon Blue was a healthy scratch in Week 1, despite preseason buzz that he could carve out a change-of-pace role. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has already indicated that Blue will likely be inactive again in Week 2.

It’s certainly debatable whether an explosive rookie should be sitting on the sidelines, but for now, Blue remains buried on the depth chart. If he were active, he’d have an appealing matchup against the New York Giants, who just allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to running backs in Week 1 and struggled to contain the Washington Commanders' rushing attack.
For fantasy purposes, Blue is locked into zero production as long as he’s inactive. Still, the talent and potential matchup value make him a name to monitor if his role changes later in the season.
