Kenley Jansen Considered Day-to-Day With a "Physical" Injury

Los Angeles Angels reliever Kenley Jansen (undisclosed) said he was bothered by something physical, but he didn't want to say what it was. When asked if he might miss some time, he said, "Just gonna take it day by day and see where we're at," Jeff Fletcher, Angels beat writer, reports. Something must have happened to Jansen during his outing on Tuesday, where he took the loss against the Reds, allowing two earned runs on two hits and one walk, while striking out just one. Jansen has put together a solid 2025 campaign, with a 3.00 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and a 48/16 K/BB ratio in 48 innings pitched to go with his 23 saves. Timing is unfortunate for fantasy managers with fantasy playoffs approaching. Reid Detmers would be a candidate for saves should Jansen need to miss any action.
