The New York Mets have traded right-handed pitching prospect Wellington Aracena and right-hander Cameron Foster to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for left-hander Gregory Soto. Aracena has spent the entire 2025 campaign with Low-A St. Lucie. Through 64 1/3 innings, the right-hander has posted a strong 2.38 ERA with a 1.13 WHIP. He has struck out an impressive 84 batters while allowing 34 free passes. Last season, Aracena made his Low-A debut but struggled, posting a hefty 9.45 ERA with a 2.18 WHIP across six appearances (two starts). Fantasy managers should expect the 20-year-old to remain at the Low-A level with Baltimore for the time being. However, given his strong campaign, he could be in the mix to earn a taste of High-A before the season's end.--Andy Smith
