Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte (groin) was scratched ahead of Monday night's matchup against the San Diego Padres with groin tightness. The 31-year-old was originally penciled in at second base but ended up being a late scratch. With Marte sidelined, Blaze Alexander will get the start instead and bat ninth. Alexander has shown flashes of potential in extremely limited action and will look to make the most of his opportunity. Fantasy managers should closely monitor Marte's status, but he remains day-to-day for now.--Julian Brooke
