Top Hitter Streamers and Starts - Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 14 (June 30 - July 6)

Kyle Stowers - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Dan's top hitter streamers and starts as fantasy baseball waiver wire adds for Week 14 of 2025 (June 30 - July 6). He analyzes streamers with favorable matchups, schedules.

We sit almost exactly at the halfway point of the season for most MLB teams as the calendar turns over to July here in a couple of days. It's already been an action-packed first half with dozens of prospects making their debuts and many well-known players sitting out with injuries.

Our hitter streamers fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups column will identify hitters with favorable matchups who can be considered waiver wire streamers ahead of the Sunday night waiver wire runs for leagues with weekly transactions. Players who appear in this article will always be rostered in 40 percent or fewer leagues on Yahoo!

In this piece, every week, I'll look to find hitters playing in the most games and who have the most favorable matchups to help you plug those gaps and fill those holes in your roster. You can also check out the rest of our fantasy baseball streamer content here at RotoBaller. Let's see which hitters we should consider grabbing off the wire as we roll into Week 14 of the fantasy baseball season!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

What Teams Offer the Most Streaming Value in Week 14?

Most MLB teams are playing six games this week.

Teams playing seven games are KC, NYY, SEA, SF, and TOR.

Ballpark Upgrades:

  • COL (all 6 games at home)
  • CWS (3 games @COL)
  • HOU (3 games @COL)
  • ATH (3 games at home, 3 games @TB)

Week 14 Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers

I'll recommend only players who are 40 percent rostered or lower, and all roster percentages are from Yahoo!

Cam Smith, 3B/OF - HOU (37% rostered)

Did you hear it? That was the sound of Cam Smith's buy-low window slamming shut last night as he hit yet another home run -- his seventh on the season and fourth in the last two weeks.

I've been imploring you to grab Smith for weeks, but it's reached a critical point. His red-hot streak of production is going to get the masses to finally wake up to his talent. He's hitting .396 over the last two weeks with 10 RBI and nine runs scored, in addition to the power outburst.

I'm pretty confident it's the last time you will see his name in this article for the rest of the season.

Ernie Clement, 1B/2B/3B/SS - TOR (33% rostered)

Clement is the first of two super-utility guys who should be on your radar. He's hitting .400 over the last two weeks, scoring 10 runs, which has been enough to put him inside the top 80 on Yahoo! He's playing every day, too; he's no longer a platoon player in Toronto.

Zach McKinstry, 2B/3B/SS/OF - DET (33% rostered)

The other utility All-Star worth an add is McKinstry. He enjoyed a nice stretch of production earlier this season, but was dropped by a lot of teams when he came back to Earth in late May.

Right now, he's running hot again, smacking two home runs in the last 10 days, while adding three more stolen bases. He's now up to 10 steals on the season and 40 runs scored. He has hit all over this Detroit lineup, but wherever it slots him in, he has been able to contribute.

Kyle Stowers, OF - MIA (31% rostered)

Is he back? Stowers was one of the hottest pickups in fantasy back in late April, but the home runs dried up, and he saw his average drop from .320 in late May to .270 about a week ago.

We love the homers, but it's also good to see his plate discipline return as he's walked just as often as he's struck out over his last 10 games. Stowers has scored a run in six straight games as the Miami offense is heating up.

Carlos Correa, SS - MIN (27% rostered)

Correa is doing just enough to put himself back into consideration in standard leagues. The veteran shortstop has an eight-game hit streak intact and added his second home run during that stretch yesterday. He's still not a stolen base threat (zero steals on the season), but he has the average up to .261 on the season and is doing enough in the rest of the hitting categories to be worthy of a mention this week.

Brooks Lee, 2B/3B/SS - MIN (20% rostered)

Staying in Minnesota, the Twins infielder I would have rather have on my roster is Lee. He is eligible for three positions and has more upside in both batting average and home runs.

The switch-hitter is batting .375 over the last two weeks and continues to go overlooked by many managers despite his steady production.

Nolan Schanuel, 1B - LAA (18% rostered)

The first baseman who wasn't supposed to have any power is now up to seven home runs on the season. That puts him on pace to match or exceed his total of 13 last year, except he's hitting 25 points better in batting average this season and cut down his strikeout rate even further to just 12.6%.

Schanuel is a consistent run producer with 40 runs scored and 32 RBI on the year. He's been excellent in the RBI department lately, with 11 over the last two weeks. This is a solid young hitter who is breaking out; he's just not getting much attention on a bad team, and because he's not a big HR guy.

Tyler Freeman, SS/OF - COL (16% rostered)

Colorado continues to offer up some value with many of its hitters widely available and turning it on offensively as of late. Freeman, the former Cleveland Guardian, has carved out consistent playing time for the Rockies.

He's hit in the leadoff spot for his last six starts, scoring five runs and stealing three bases. He's now hitting .319 on the season and could be a good source of batting average, runs scored, and steals if he can keep it going.

Otto Lopez, 2B/SS - MIA (16% rostered)

There are not many hitters who are hotter than Miami's Lopez right now. He's hitting .346 over the last two weeks with two home runs, 14 RBI, and nine runs scored. That production puts him inside the top 25 on Yahoo over that stretch.

Lopez has been in the 10% or less section of this piece for a few weeks, but his recent spike in production has him up to 16% rostered, and that number is going to be in the 20s by tomorrow. The window to snag Lopez in standard leagues is going to be short if it hasn't already closed.

Caleb Durbin, 2B/3B/SS - MIL (14% rostered)

Here's another young player to get excited about in terms of a potential breakout. Durbin has been on an absolute tear lately. Since June 19, he's piled up 15 hits and 13 runs while hitting two home runs. His early season struggles at the plate have all but been erased as he's raised his average to .251 on the season.

Durbin is eligible at three infield positions and is producing across the board statistically. He's a solid young player who is likely only to get better from here on out. Invest now before it's too late!

Jake Meyers, OF - HOU (12% rostered)

There's nothing flashy about his game, but Meyers just continues to hit and get on base. He's hitting .354 over the last two weeks and scored nine runs in that stretch. He's now up to a .307 batting average on the season with 13 steals. If you need production in average, runs, and steals, then Meyers can help.

Week 14 Deeper League Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers to Consider

Some widely available hitters (under 10 percent rostered) could be worth a look this week.

Good luck this week, and choose those streaming options wisely! Thanks for making RotoBaller your one-stop shopping for all things fantasy baseball!
