Chris Bassitt Dealt No-Decision Vs. White Sox
Chris Bassitt yielded three hits and one earned run over six innings of work, but did not factor into Sunday's 4-2 home loss to the Chicago White Sox. He issued one free pass and punched out seven. The lone blemish against him -- and all but one hit -- came in the top of the fourth frame when Chicago pushed across a run on a fielder's choice, but he was dominant otherwise, with all the hits tallied against him singles. Bassitt has done exceptionally well inducing soft contact in 2025 -- sporting a 91st percentile average exit velocity (86.8 MPH) and an 85th percentile hard-hit rate (34.1%) through 16 starts. He'll carry a 7-3 record into a road matchup with the Boston Red Sox later this week.
