Jauan Jennings 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Ready for an Increased Role?
Jauan Jennings is getting his share of hype entering the 2025 campaign. Deebo Samuel Sr. is no longer on the roster after he was traded to the Washington Commanders in March. Brandon Aiyuk (knee) is still working his way back from a torn ACL and MCL. As a result, Jennings has a chance to establish himself as the No. 1 wideout on the depth chart even after Aiyuk is healthy. The 27-year-old is coming off a quality season, finishing with 77 receptions for 975 yards and six touchdowns. Had he not missed two contests, he likely would have surpassed the 1,000-yard receiving mark. Without question, quarterback Brock Purdy will rely on Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle to catch passes. Ricky Pearsall may also get an enhanced role. Still, Jennings is the clear favorite to lead the way at the position. He currently occupies the No. 37 (standard) and No. 38 (PPR) spots in RotoBaller's rankings for the 2025 season. However, it's safe to say there will be some reaching for Jennings in fantasy drafts, meaning managers could see him gone before the sixth or seventh rounds.
