Shea Langeliers Takes Batting Practice
Shea Langeliers (oblique) was able to take part in batting practice ahead of Saturday's game. Langeliers looked good swinging the bat and was crushing the ball, so it sounds like he's making good progress. He's currently working his way back from an oblique injury that landed him on the 10-day injured list in early June. It's unclear if Langeliers is going to need a rehab assignment. Before going down, Langeliers was slashing .237/.300/.430 with 10 homers and 27 RBI this season. In the meantime, Austin Wynns and Willie Maclver will split up the duties behind the plate for the A's.
