Didier Fuentes to Remain in Braves' Rotation
Chris Sale (rib cage) on the 15-day injured list with a fractured left rib cage on Saturday. Sale's absence will leave a massive void in their rotation. It'll also lead to more opportunities for right-handed prospect Didier Fuentes, who will stay in their starting five with Sale out. "We'll go with the five guys we have," manager Brian Snitker told Gabe Burns of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. MLB Pipeline's 10th-ranked Braves prospect, Fuentes made his major league debut Friday and struggled in a 6-2 loss to the Miami Marlins. Fuentes logged five innings of four-run ball with six hits allowed and 3:1 K:BB. With the Braves set to take on the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies next week, Fuentes should be avoided from a fantasy perspective in his next start.
