Top Hitter Streamers and Starts - Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 13 (June 23 - June 29)

Michael Toglia - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Dan's top hitter streamers and starts as fantasy baseball waiver wire adds for Week 13 of 2025 (June 23 - June 29). He analyzes streamers with favorable matchups, schedules.

Hitting conditions could not be better lately, and with another week of hot weather projected across much of the country, it appears that hitters will have the upper hand going forward. Don't sit around and watch others snag up hitters who could be helping your team pile up stats instead! If there was ever a time to be active on the wire with streaming hitters, it's now!

Our hitter streamers fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups column will identify hitters with favorable matchups who can be considered waiver wire streamers ahead of the Sunday night waiver wire runs for leagues with weekly transactions. Players who appear in this article will always be rostered in 40 percent or fewer leagues on Yahoo!

In this piece, every week, I'll look to find hitters playing in the most games and who have the most favorable matchups to help you plug those gaps and fill those holes in your roster. You can also check out the rest of our fantasy baseball streamer content here at RotoBaller. Let's see which hitters we should consider grabbing off the wire as we roll into Week 13 of the fantasy baseball season!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

What Teams Offer the Most Streaming Value in Week 13?

Most MLB teams are playing six games this week.

Teams playing seven games are ATL, CHC, MIN, NYM, SEA, and STL.

Ballpark Upgrades:

  • CIN (6 games at home)
  • NYY (3 games at CIN)
  • SDP (3 games at CIN)
  • LAD (3 games @COL)

Week 13 Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers

I'll recommend only players who are 40 percent rostered or lower, and all roster percentages are from Yahoo!

Ryan McMahon, 3B - COL (37% rostered)

With six home runs in the last two weeks, McMahon has thrust himself into the conversation for standard leagues. He still struggles against LHP, but he's been inside the top 50 over the last 14 days.

The Rockies' offense has been bad all season, but they are trending up right now, and McMahon should see plenty of RBI opportunities going forward.

Agustin Ramirez, C/1B - MIA (37% rostered)

The power continues to shine through as Ramirez is now up to 11 HR on the season. You just have to be willing to eat the poor batting average, as he can go multiple games without a hit in between those power surges. I still think he should be rostered in standard leagues for his sheer upside.

Cam Smith, 3B/OF - HOU (35% rostered)

I have been on Cam Smith all season, and now we are finally starting to see him heat up, along with the rest of the Houston offense. He has been crushing lefties this season, but we will need to see him hit RHP more consistently before we can truly call it a full breakout. I love his upside, though, and like Ramirez, he is a big-time prospect who should probably be on rosters in standard formats on his potential alone.

Trevor Story, SS - BOS (32% rostered)

Story is a holdover from last week. He had a fairly quiet week but launched another home run on Thursday against Seattle. I continue to be optimistic about his production as long as he's healthy and in the lineup.

Sal Frelick, OF - MIL (32% rostered)

If you have been reading this column at all this season, you will know that Sal is my guy! I have been trying to pump him up all year, but he doesn't hit for enough power to interest many managers.

Well, he's hitting for average at a high level with a .323 mark, and he continues to be active on the basepaths with 14 steals. This past week, he slid into the leadoff spot, which only increases his value further. The guy hits no matter where they put him in the lineup or where he is in the field. He even played some first base this week, so he could be on his way to gaining some eligibility in the infield at some point, too.

J.P. Crawford, SS - SEA (25% rostered)

Crawford's rostership continues to rise as he keeps hitting. He's got very solid numbers across the board for a middle infielder, though if we had to be picky we would probably like more than five steals. He's been super steady and productive now for the last month. Snag him if you need help at the shortstop position.

Michael Toglia, 1B/OF - COL (23% rostered)

I have not given up on Toglia yet, and I don't think you should either. Since returning to the major leagues, he's had a hit in five of six games with three home runs and six RBI. This is the same guy we saw hit 25 home runs last year and at the top of many batted ball statistical leaderboards.

There's a good chance that he's going to figure it out and get going this year, yet.

Trent Grisham, OF - NYY (21% rostered)

Grisham was on an insane run through April and May, but cooled off in June in a big way. But don't look now, he could be heating up again. He's smacked two home runs in his last three games and will head to Cincinnati tomorrow for a three-game series in the Great American "Small Park," where he could do even more damage.

Jordan Beck, OF - COL (16% rostered)

More Rockies hitters, here we come! Beck was a hot pickup for a while before his bat cooled off there. But as I mentioned earlier, Colorado has been coming on strong offensively, including Beck, who has a four-game hitting streak with two HR, three RBI, and four runs scored in that stretch.

Brooks Lee, 2B/3B/SS - MIN (16% rostered)

Lee's hitting streak finally ended yesterday, but the versatile infielder has still made a name for himself in MLB and fantasy baseball circles.

Lee is a switch-hitter who has shown he can hit for average and some power. He's a really good, young, all-around player who is finally getting a chance to play every day. He's eligible at both middle infield positions and the hot corner, so he's a great utility man to help round out your roster. I think the arrow continues to point up for him for the rest of the season.

Luis Rengifo, 2B/3B - LAA (16% rostered)

Rengifo was a popular value pick in drafts this year based on what he did last year, mainly in the second half of the season as a full-time player.

It was a pretty uneven start to the year for Rengifo in 2025, but he has come on strong lately over the last two weeks with three home runs over his last 40 at-bats.

He's still hitting just .220, but I think he's likely to pick it up. He hit .300 last year and is a dynamic switch-hitter who can launch the baseball despite being a smaller guy.

Nolan Schanuel, 1B - LAA (15% rostered)

I keep coming back to Schanuel as a guy who is a great deep league add and a potential fill-in for shallower formats.

His power is limited, but he has a sweet swing and continues to hit for average while getting on base and scoring runs (38). He's an ideal hitter for the 2-hole as he doesn't strike out much and does a good job of getting on base ahead of the Angels' big bats behind him.

Week 13 Deeper League Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers to Consider

Some widely available hitters (under 10 percent rostered) could be worth a look this week.

Good luck this week, and choose those streaming options wisely! Thanks for making RotoBaller your one-stop shopping for all things fantasy baseball!
