Fernando Tatis Jr. Set for More Testing After HBP
Fernando Tatis Jr. (wrist, hand) will require further testing on Friday to determine the severity of his injury. The 26-year-old was forced from Thursday's contest with the Los Angeles Dodgers after getting hit by a pitch in the hand/wrist area. Per manager Mike Schildt, they're "trying to figure Tatis' injury out," as initial X-rays returned negative. It's good news thus far, but he's not out of the woods just yet, considering Tatis Jr. looked to be in quite a bit of pain upon his exit. We'll likely get an update on him shortly, though it's expected that he'll miss at least a few contests.
